As a Team, we are a diverse collection of generations, racial and ethnic backgrounds, social and economic backgrounds and most importantly a collection of knowledge that we passionately wish to share with our clients and potential clients. On the left side of the page you’ll find direct links to pages that address in detail specific information for different categories of viewers. Before you travel there, however, we do want to take a brief moment to give you some safety tips when travelling in the REO Marketplace.

Before you go looking for that “diamond in the rough” visit your lender and get pre-approved for a loan that fits your life style today and will continue to fit it tomorrow. Don’t let the process get reversed. BUY what you can afford – not - try and AFFORD what you want to buy. If you are unsure how to get started with this process, please look to the left-hand navigation bar and select the button “Get Pre-Approved.” This will take you to a page that presents several different lending options. Each of these lenders has successfully completed lending transactions for The Nines Team. They will consult with you on a “no obligation” basis. They hope, of course, that they will develop a relationship of mutual trust and that you will be working together in meeting your home financing needs. Since Financing is where most REO transactions “go wrong,” we will be especially pleased to see you come back to us with one of these proven resources.

As a Buyer we strongly suggest that you consult with a Realtor® in evaluating the market and the neighborhood where you are considering making an offer. Realtors® subscribe to both a code of ethics and the California Realtors® Association Winforms® product. Winforms® contains a “Buyer-Broker” agreement which we suggest you insist your consultant execute in your behalf. In essence, this agreement assures that the Realtor® represents your interests exclusively. In a market where it seems that nearly everything is stacked in the REO asset seller’s favor, having someone on your side insures that your interests as a buyer are just as important as those of any other party to the transaction. The Nines Team includes Buyer Specialists whose skill and expertise reflect the current market and whose commitment to their Buyer clients is exceptional. In summary, please add two people to your professional support team; your lender and your buyer specialist Realtor®. The real estate process is complicated enough without adding the new dimension of “REO!” When you do, the more planning time you and your team spend together will result in a safer and happier transaction.
